Many historians consider the Revolutionary War to have been decided in the swamps, fields, woods and mountains of South Carolina. Join us on January 24th, as we kick off the 2019 KVLT Speaker Series. Mr. Doug Bostick is the Ex. Director of the SC Battleground Preservation Trust, and he will describe the Liberty Trail, which is a driving trail across parts of SC that will tell the story of many of the revolutionary war battles that occurred in the State. This presentation will be held at 7:00 PM in the historic Lancaster County courthouse, and the event is co-sponsored by the Lancaster County Historical Commission.
Other speakers in the 2019 series will be:
Dr. Bill Rogers, Winthrop University. Birds of the Catawba River valley – April 11, 2019. 7:00 PM at the Carol Ray Dowling Center.
